What is faith? What does it look like? Is attending church every Sunday faith? We call it faithful attendance but could it be we attend church with hope. Do we say I go to church hoping to he saved or hoping to build a better understanding of God and Jesus. And we could say my faith is strong because I know Jesus. But let me toss this little story in. Peter learned from Jesus and walked with Jesus and even told Jesus he would die for Him. But Jesus knew Peter and told him after Jesus died, he would deny Jesus before the rooster crowed. Telling us Peter doubted and wavered and lost hope when Jesus died. Therefore, it wasn't faith but hope. In my homeless exile the Holy Spirit asked me to read the book of Job. Over and over which I did and many things come from it one was what is faith. Also, another thing came from it which was what Jobs 3 friend accused Job of and that was punishment for sins. And that is going back to geniuses and the fact that Adam and Eve were sent out of the garden not for punishment but because sin would burn up next to God so they could no longer live with God. But were saved to be restored. But satan had approached God asking who he might tempt and God showed him Job. Said do what you want but Job will never turn. So then begins a test of faith. Things were taken and life was ruined and the body was damaged and over and over Job was beaten down but every time his friend's said punishment and your sin Job yells at God saying "You Lord have walked my entire life beside me and know everything in my heart and mind. You God know the truth" he yelled about the pain, the betrayal, the damage to body and the loss of family and friends. He yelled about his anger and asked why and why. And as it went past, he finally changed to surrender and allowed to pick him up and restore him. When we look at the massive struggles and loss of Job but he was given the endurance and healing to live through the ash pit this is what unwavering faith looks like. It's the KNOWING GOD IS THERE AND NOT THINKING ANYTHING IS NOT WHAT GOD WANTS. Job had no idea satan was being allowed to test him. Job had no idea what any of it was for but he had the faith the grit the endurance to know it was wrong but there would be an end to it. So, when we look at our lives and we think everything is going great is it possible we don't have faith and therefore have nothing to build upon? Shouldn't we be a little happier that God will never give us more then we can handle and push into struggles knowing it's for building faith and praise God for thinking I am faithful enough to build on. I would like to challenge everyone to take time from now on and think of everything that happens to you good or bad and thank God for it and then see 2 things. Was it something you prayed for and so its answered prayer. If so then tell everyone because we have stopped talking about what God does and therefore God disappears from our lives. Or was it something God blessed you with and now you need to find out what God needs you to do. Amen

Father this morning I pray from this verse you gave my in the daily devotional email the day after I signed my divorce papers on May 5th

Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.

Father I seem to be ready for satan to attack. I can feel the stir and pray for the help of God.  Father the battle has started. December 16th the papers were served and then the next day in my daily devotional email the confirmation You God sent of Matthew 10,34-36 that you are cracking open the door. Father I do not know if Crossfire Trail is the place you have for me but it looks like the best I have seen so far. I do not have the funds or I dont think I will have the funds but I know you will provide what I need. Guide me through this divorce, let me be under Your protection and guidance. Chain satan to the abyss durning this divorce that I can walk through the swing of Your sword with my eyes only on You God. Help me move, help me buy, help me to walk away from betrayal. Father you created me to be a servant and for the last 15+ years I have been denied this opportunity.  You God have walked with and have seen everything I have lived. You God know my heart and I ask today that You Father help me to find the sin of vengeance and pain of unjustly and wash them off my heart. Let the past be a warning that I dont fall into again and let me move forward seeing the blessings and movement of your hand. Father as this ends find me a place and someone or ones that can use me. Today 12/22/2025 Father thank You for cracking the door open a bit futher by having my real-estate agent call and tell me she is handing me over to a new guy that is very experienced in divorce appraisals and talking with my lawyer and the little encouragement that maybe God You are making things happen smoothly and fast.  I thank you for the ministry opportunities You place in front of me God and I look forward to seeing and feeling all the love and joy You God will put in this day. 12/31/2025 a counter claim of divorce is filed by my ex which I first take with anger for loss of my possessions but maybe this is Gods timing and the sword has swung a major blow. Maybe I need to ask God to fill my heart with joy that he is answering my prayer and starting to reveal the truth. Father I am sorry but my flesh jumped back in the ash pit and I rolled in anger. Father forgive me for not seeing your hand moving in my favor and protecting me while exposing the enemy. Help me to endure and help me to stay focused on you God. New list of events for 1/1/2026 the very next day after I get a counter claim from my ex wife stating she wants to be the one claiming victim and therefore she must be the one divorcing me instead. The rest if the day I struggle with feeling I have lost everything and trying to stay focused on God and that this is his hand moving to bring forth truth. The day is filled with my real-estate agent reaching out to encourage and to try and get the new guy taking over my case to make contact and the city electrician driving by in his bucket truck and honking so I would see the mighty merlin great dane riding in the back of truck. God sent his hand to fill my heart and keep faith. This morning at 1 am I was starting to struggle again with losing everything and then I get my morning daily devotional email and it is filled with encouragement and focus with this verse

I knew they were scheming to hurt me so I sent messengers back with this: “I’m doing a great work; I can’t come down. Why should the work come to a standstill just so I can come down to see you?"

 and then my daughter gets a reply to a message she sent over 1 year ago saying the apartment she was inquiring about was now available. She said it was just strange and I told her it means her disability will be done soon and she will find her apartment and independence and I might be getting my home soon. It was a sign from God that yes things are moving and yes God is in control.

Is God really listening. I am sure God is and when i laugh about how to get money but just niw this home popped up on zillow and looking at this has every spec i pretty much asked for with room to take the on demand hot water out and put in heat pump split unit and slowly convert to electric and room for solar the house face north i believe so thr roof pitch would be east west for panels if so desired or low mount in the large back yard. Its fenced and looks beautiful inside and out with raised flower bed. I will put this in my dream spot if i should be lucky. Wow my junk box in email was filled with 12 spams but i have been bombarded with 2 main topics which tells me something about getting the message and getting prepared. 1st topic most have been jobs available in basin area. Most of which are not here like 40 dollars per hour at American airlines 30 at grocery store etc so yes they are spam but look at the message about prayer for being of use. 

2nd topic. A bunch everyday from liz buys homes. Think of how my attention has gone from staying around clark wy or even in Wyoming to making a break and since i might be losing possessions maybe sell everything and move to Arizona.

They may be spams but i think i need to start preparing because i feel my daughter’s independence is coming very soon and then my independence will be shortly after.

My walk went good today, sniw was melting and deer and squirrels were out. They were training horses for roping at the fairgrounds. The dark has come and almost time for exercises at 7:30pm so finished my looney tunes mayhem and we were out of water so hauled the jugs over and filled them up with my lead stopping water filter. So back on couch of rv closing things out and waiting for tomorrow. Took ibuprofen with my 6pm meds and feeling pretty good. I think when they scraped out all the torn meniscus 80 or 90 percent of it was torn. It must have left a gap or something not sure how that works which is why it always feels like it needs to pop and can not bend like when you sit on your feet with out a lot of bending ot slowly to get it to flex that far. Not to worried about hard water qe have that here and i have found that a few 8 million gauze magnets placed along the water pipes aligns the molecules and makes them slicker so scale build up is way less.
