Day 238 all I want is a home
Where the day dreams roam.
Today started slow and calm. Played with Bailey a few times on the way to the bathroom. Kept thinking I should still her and take her on my walk with me hehehe. We cooked up our steaks and taters and had a great lunch. Then I headed out on my walk. The forecast was saying rain around 4 or 4:30 so plenty of time. First lap I spent some time putting some goats back in their yard hehehe
So then I took my shoes off and headed home and sure enough they last 3/4 of a mile was in the rain. Hehehe it was 1 hour early so now I am sitting in RV trying to dry my cloths off. Got my cloths I have on dry for the most part but my coat is still pretty wet and the temperature is dropping so have the small heater going off and on which is working pretty good right now. But hope it don't get real cold or there may be snow on the ground come morning hehehe. Thought I would be nice and send some video of the goats I put back to my wife but that was back at 4 and she still hasn't looked at it. So I guess my prayer for a place to live with a flower bed might have been heard or she is hoping that I am finally getting the hint that she doesn't believe in divorce but I should or something like that all I know is I am to confused with her games and lies and just pray God would bring the truth out and guide me to where He would so I can keep working in His kingdom. Amen. And that goes right along with my daily devotional today to which was great.
"The report they sent him read as follows: To King Darius: Cordial greetings. The king should know that we went to the district of Judah, to the temple of the great God. The people are building it with large stones and placing the timbers in the walls. The work is being carried on with diligence and is making rapid progress under their direction."
~ Ezra 5:7-8 NIV
The Jews were called back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.
In the process they were met with all types of opposition. In this modern day they would be called "Haters".
But even the haters (those who oppose the work God called you to do) had to acknowledge the mighty work of God's people.
They didn't say it to the Jews, but it was definitely documented that the work was being done diligently and rapidly.
Bro Kevin, be encouraged today that though many may oppose you they cannot deny the progress.
They are insecure to a point where they are taking your success, in the Lord, as a threat.
But be encouraged to keep building. Keep going. Keep doing the work of God.
In doing so you force them to be a witness and acknowledge the mighty hand of God at work.
No weapon, no opposition, and no hater will prosper.
Let's pray...
"Lord, help me to stay focused on that which you have called me to. You have called me to be great and therefore I am building something great in your name. Help me to remain faithful and not fearful when opposition strikes. Lord turn them all into witnesses of your mighty power that they will not be able to deny you are the one true God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. "
So pretty sure phone call is out tonight and yes it is no contact sunday so should expect that anyway. It will be interesting to see what this week comes up with for accusations from wife and marriage counselor hehehe
Think I am play games and hitting sack night everyone. Dream of off grid homes in the country like I will be.
