Day 234 was a stormy night

 

But I slept through it hehehe

"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

~ 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

There is nothing good the devil has to offer.

Since you can only give out of what you have, all he can ever offer is lies, deceit, malice, and hate.

However, due to the sin nature of flesh, sometimes we can become enticed by these offerings.

These are the times you must remember..."the devil will always tempt you with less than God's plan for you".

No temptation will ever leave you in a better place than if you never gave in to it.

This is the very nature of the enemy and temptation: to make something you know you shouldn't have enticing through lies and deceit.

If it was good for you, it would be called an opportunity, not temptation.

Opportunities come from God to allow you the chance to grow. Though challenging, they provide you the means of pursuing your purpose at a higher level.

In the face of every temptation lies the opportunity to say no and grow, turning what the devil meant for death and destruction into life and increased faith.

So rejoice for the presence of temptation in your life, for they are nothing more than an opportunity to rely on God more and grow closer to Him.

Today be encouraged to "say no and grow."

Let's pray...

"Father thank you for a way out. Every time I am faced with temptation there is always an exit sign prepared for me. Through this exit is my growth in you. Help me to both see and utilize the exit in the face of temptation. I refuse to be tricked by the adversary and instead choose the opportunity to grow in Christ. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."

I just wish at this time of separation in my marriage I could see the opportunity. I feel Gods hand on my chest saying "wait here and be patient" but I  being a man like to see down the path were I am heading hoping to avoid pitfalls and walking at this time with God it so easily could be divorce or reconciliation because my wife needs to convince everyone she has talked into hating me that I should be excepted back and I do not see that happening in fact it's totally the opposite so I keep jumping against God's hand in hopes to get a peek down the path.

Got 1 short walk in today hoping for a few more but I got 1 lap around the fairgrounds 3/4 mile and black clouds were just touching the edge of town so will have to wait for them to pass then head out again hehehe

Ok made 2 more laps around fairgrounds while no rain which got my steps goal. Not sure of the call from my wife tonight but I expect it to be short and unfulfilled since she will talk about her leg pain and her mother and how tired she is. Wonder what would happen if I unloaded on her about day dreaming of a place with a yard and flower beds that I could live in with the dogs and the fulfillment of life instead of being homeless. Been thinking of sending her a text asking why she hates chiropractors because I forgot. Just so it would be in texts and I know she let's her pastor guy read all of them so it would be an indication of her not wanting medical help for her pain because of something someone told her or who knows why. 

Well so I asked the question and got a very vague response. Like I have never been to a chiropractor.

Then finally "She did mention a chiropractor, but, I don't want to go to a chiropractor. " so if she has misaligned vertebrae and refuses to go to someone that could fix it and solve a lot of her pain. I know its because someone told her on Facebook they are bad or someone in her circle of perfect friends she talks to but us non worthy people as she tells me I am all the time can't tell her anything. Oh well tomorrow should be fun got 2 appointments in cody so will have to miss marriage counseling but I will let them know first thing in the morning. Then my daughter and I plan on a good burger at the milestone grill. Sooooo nite all
